Pushpa 2 Premiere Stampede Case: Hyderabad Police has arrested 3 people on December 8 in connection with the death of a woman in a stampede in a theater in Hyderabad during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s latest release film ‘Pushpa 2 The Rule’. According to the report of Siasat.com, apart from the owner and manager of Sandhya Theatre, a security head has been detained.
According to the report, Sandhya Theater owner M Sandeep, security head Gandhakam Vijay Chandra and manager M Nagaraju have been taken into custody by the police. A case has been registered against all of them under sections 105, 118(1) and 3(5) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).
What happened on the day of the premiere
A day before the release of the film, i.e. on 4th December, Allu Arjun attended the premiere with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Police had told PTI that neither the actor nor the theater management had given any information about this to the police. As soon as Allu arrived, there was a stampede in the theatre, due to which 35 year old woman Revathi died. The woman’s two children had to be admitted to the ICU.
The family had filed a complaint against Allu Arjun
Based on the complaint of the deceased’s family, a case was registered against Allu Arjun, his security team and theater management under sections 105, 118 (1) and 3 (5) of BNS.
