Police Crackdown on DK Boss Gang Who Duped Off 12 Crore from 3000 mobile users

The Jharkhand Police has discovered a cyber crime module that has cheated about Rs 12 crore from about 3,000 mobile users. This module was being run by a young man named Pseudo of ‘DK Boss’. It is being told that there are more than 500 cybercrime cases on this. He used to make apps with the help of modern technology like Chatgpt and sell it to small cyber thugs, who used them to cheat people.

Used to make apps by learning from YouTube

According to media reports, these cyber thugs used to learn from YouTube and make apps for Android smartphones. These chatgpt used to find out bugs or any other deficiency in the app. Then these apps were sold to another cyber criminal at the rate of Rs 25,000 per month. After this, these thugs used to infiltrate the phones of the beneficiaries of government services and the bank account holders. Cyber ​​criminals used to make apps in the name of Punjab National Bank and Canara Bank etc., which made it easier for people to trap. These people used to choose the beneficiaries by making apps in the name of government services.

Transaction of more than 50 crores

Police said that this module has done transactions of more than 50 crores. Of these, 12.6 crore were extracted from people’s bank accounts through cyber fraud. Data of 2,700 victims have also been found from a website created by a member of this module. It has about 2.5 lakh messages, including OTP and banking details of WhatsApp and Payment Apps. After about a month of investigation, the police of Jamatara district of Jharkhand arrested 6 accused. All of them are 25 to 30 years old.
