Let us tell you that the gold medal was won in the final round of the 45th Chess Olympiad. The 45th Chess Olympiad was played in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, in which 197 teams from 195 countries and 183 women’s teams from 181 countries participated.
India’s men’s team performed brilliantly in the 11th and final round. The men’s team won 21 out of 22 points. These points also included a 2-2 draw against Uzbekistan. Apart from this, Team India defeated all other opponents.
