Indian Railways: Indian Railways on Sunday handed over 6 more Vande Bharat Expresses to the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged them off. With this, there are now 60 Vande Bharat Expresses in the country. This semi-high speed modern train built under the Make in India project is known for its safety and world class facilities. With the launch of these new Vande Bharat Expresses, this train will now make 120 trips daily and connect 280 districts of 24 states and union territories.
Vande Bharat Express was started on these 6 routes
Vande Bharat Express was launched on Sunday on the routes of Tatanagar to Patna, Brahmapur to Tatanagar, Rourkela to Howrah, Deoghar to Varanasi, Bhagalpur to Howrah and Gaya to Howrah. According to the Railway Ministry, Vande Bharat Express has the capacity to run at a speed of 160 km per hour. These Vande Bharat trains will connect religious places like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Baidyanath Dham, Kalighat and Belur Math. Along with this, coal and mining industry, jute industry, iron and steel industry will also benefit from them. The country’s first Vande Bharat was run between Delhi and Varanasi on February 15, 2019. Since then, its demand has been continuously increasing.
Tatanagar to Patna Vande Bharat Express (Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat)
This train will start from Tatanagar and reach Patna via Chandil, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Parasnath, Koderma, Gaya. Currently, it will run 4 days a week.
Brahmapur to Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express (Brahmapur-Tatanagar Vande Bharat)
Railway connectivity from Brahmapur to Tatanagar is currently very poor. The new Vande Bharat can prove to be a boon for the people on this route. It will run from Brahmapur and reach Tatanagar via Balugaon, Khurda, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jakhapura, Harichandanpur, Kendujhargarh, Banspani, Chaibasa. It will run 6 days a week.
Rourkela to Howrah Vande Bharat Express (Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat)
This train will connect Rourkela in Odisha to Howrah in West Bengal. This train, which runs 6 days a week, will start from Rourkela and reach Howrah via Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur.
Deoghar to Varanasi Vande Bharat Express (Deoghar-Varanasi Vande Bharat)
This train will provide direct connectivity between Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga and Baidyanath Jyotirlinga. It will run 6 days a week. This train will reach Deoghar from Varanasi via Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction, Sasaram, Gaya, Nawada, Kiul, Jasdih.
Bhagalpur to Howrah Vande Bharat Express (Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat)
This Vande Bharat Express will strengthen connectivity between Bihar and West Bengal. It will run 6 days a week. This train will stop at Barahat, Mandar Hill, Hansdiha, Nonihat, Dumka, Rampur Hat and Bolpur between Bhagalpur and Howrah.
Gaya to Howrah Vande Bharat Express (Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat)
This train will also run between Bihar and West Bengal. It will run 6 days a week. This train will stop at Koderma, Parasnath, Dhanbad, Asansol and Durgapur between Gaya and Howrah.
