Vikas Bharat @ 2047: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the mission of making the country developed by the 100th year of independence. The meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog chaired by Prime Minister Modi is going on in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday to prepare the plan for the Developed India Mission. In the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the countrymen want a developed country in 2047. States can play an important role in achieving this goal. According to Niti Aayog, we have to make the economy of 30 trillion dollars and the per capita income 18,000 dollars annually by 2047.
GDP will have to be increased 9 times and per capita income 8 times
According to Niti Aayog, the country’s GDP is currently $3.36 trillion. We have to increase it 9 times by 2047. Apart from this, per capita income will also have to be increased 8 times from the current $2,392 to $18,000. In the year 2001, per capita income was $460. It has now increased by almost 6.5 times. India is currently the 5th largest economy in the world. We hope that by 2027 it will become the third largest economy in the world. Our GDP will also cross the $5 trillion mark by that time. In the year 2014, we were the 10th largest economy in the world.
Tremendous improvement in the condition of highways, railways and airports
According to Niti Aayog, the country has made remarkable progress in the field of education, health and infrastructure. 1.45 lakh km of highways have been built in the country. Along with this, the number of expressways is also increasing rapidly. Indian Railways is also taking strong steps towards developed India. In the year 2014, where there were 74 airports in the country, now they have touched the figure of 148. The number of people living below the poverty line is decreasing rapidly. The economic condition is also improving in the villages. Measures like Direct Benefit Transfer have helped the government save Rs 2.7 lakh crore.
We are creating new records in UPI and Internet
According to the report, the country has 120 crore mobile phone users and 88 crore internet users. Also, 30 crore people are doing about 10 billion transactions every month using UPI. There are 110 unicorns and 1.17 lakh startups registered in the country. The number of Jan Dhan accounts has reached 52.64 crores. The country is working towards providing clean water and 24-hour electricity supply to every household.
