Batting in the first innings of South Australia in the match, he scored 63* runs with the help of 9 fours, after which Hughes got injured on the ball of Australian fast bowler Sean Abbott.
He was taken to the hospital after being hit by the ball, but he lost the battle for his life and on November 27, Hughes said goodbye to this world. 27th November is also called the black day in cricket history.
