The passport service portal has informed people about this through an email. It has been told that this decision has been taken due to technical maintenance. During this time, passport services will be affected in all passport service centers, regional passport offices and the Ministry of External Affairs in the country. At the same time, the passport service portal has said about the pre-booked appointments that they will be rescheduled and information about this will reach the people.
how does it work
For your information, let us tell you that people apply for a new passport through the passport service portal. Also, people get their old passport renewed here. Apart from this, with the help of this portal, people book appointments at different passport centers across the country. After applying, the applicant is given an appointment date. After the date is issued, the applicant has to go to the center on that scheduled date and get his documents verified. After document verification, the information given by the applicant is also confirmed by the police. After the verification process is completed, the passport is sent to the applicant’s address.
