After this, in the sixth throw, Dharambir achieved a distance of 31.59 meters. In this way, despite fouling the first four throws, Dharambir won the gold medal.
Pranav Surma achieved the best in the first throw itself
On the other hand, Pranav Surma achieved his best in his first throw itself. His first throw was 34.59, which put a silver medal in his account. Then in the second throw, he set a distance of 34.19 and the third throw was a foul. After this, he achieved a distance of 34.50 in the fourth throw, 33.90 in the fifth and 33.70 in the sixth throw.
Let us tell you that the third Indian participating in the event, Amit Kumar, could not win a medal. He could only make a best throw of 23.96. With this throw, Amit Kumar finished 10th in the event. At the same time, Serbia’s Jeljko Dimitrijevic won the bronze in the event by throwing 34.18.
