Paris Paralympics 2024 has been quite spectacular for India so far. India has won a total of 25 medals, which is the highest in any Paralympics. Earlier, India had won 19 medals in the Tokyo Paralympics. Now in the Paris Paralympics, Indian para athletes can touch the figure of 30 medals today (06 September, Friday).
In fact, today, on the ninth day, India is expected to get a total of 5 medals, which can take the figure of 25 medals to 30. India’s first medal of the day can come in Men’s Javelin Throw F54, for which Dipesh Kumar will be on the field in the final. Apart from this, the second medal can come in Men’s High Jump T44, T62, T64, for which Praveen Kumar will be on the field in the final. Then the third medal can be won by Kasturi Rajmani in the final of Women’s Powerlifting up to 67 kg.
Then the fourth medal of the day can come in the Women’s Javelin Throw Final F46 and the fifth medal can come in Men’s Shot Put F56, F57. Bhavnaben Chaudhary will be on the field in the Women’s Javelin Throw event and Soman Rana and Hokato Hotoje Sema in the Shot Put.
