Manu Bhaker to Miss National Shooting Champions: India’s star shooter and Paris Olympics 2024 double medal winner Manu Bhaker has started training again. But there is a disappointing news for her fans because Manu will not be a part of the National Championship to be held next month. This will be the second major tournament after the Paris Olympics, in which Manu Bhaker has refused to participate. Earlier, he had also withdrawn his name from the ISSF Shooting World Cup Final held in Delhi in the month of October.
Manu Bhaker’s coach Jaspal Rana says that Manu Bhaker will not participate in the National Championships. According to the coach, it is not enough time for Manu to be back in training so that he can participate in big tournaments. Currently the Indian shooter is in Europe with her coach, where she is focusing on improving her grip.
According to TOI, Jaspal Rana said, “We are currently trying to improve Manu Bhaker’s grip. That is why we had already decided on the European tour. There are many aspects which we need to pay attention to, but Can’t say much right now, I’m sure these changes will improve Manu’s performance in the future.”
It doesn’t matter what people say…
Manu Bhaker has been in the headlines after the Paris Olympics due to her fashion shows and various interviews, but during this time she has been missing from shooting competitions. In this era of social media, people have started speculating that Manu Bhaker’s performance may be adversely affected by focusing more on media and fashion shows instead of shooting. On this issue, coach Jaspal Rana gave a befitting reply to the critics and said, “It doesn’t matter what people say. We are not accountable to anyone.”
