Shreyasi Singh is an Indian shooter. Apart from this, she is also a politician. Shreyasi Singh is a woman MLA of Bihar Legislative Assembly. She contested the 2020 election from Jamui Assembly on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket. Shreyasi Singh defeated Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Vijay Prakash Yadav by 41,000 votes. Her family has been associated with politics for a long time. Her father Digvijay Singh Saheb has been an MP earlier and mother Putul Singh is currently an MP.
Shreyasi Singh is a Commonwealth Games gold medalist
Shreyasi Singh won a silver medal in trap in the Commonwealth Championship 2010. Apart from this, she also won a silver medal in double trap in the Commonwealth Championship 2017. Shreyasi Singh was successful in winning gold in double trap in the Commonwealth Games 2018. She won a bronze medal in the double trap team in the Asian Games 2014.

Shreyasi Singh is going to play the trap women’s qualification round today i.e. on 31st July. This match is to be played at 12:30 pm. In which Rajeshwari Kumari will also show her strength. After this, if Shreyasi Singh manages to qualify, then she will play the final match in this event today at 7 pm, which will be a medal match.
