Manu Bhaker’s disappointment was evident on her face as she missed the chance to create history. “I was very nervous in the final. There is always a next time and I am already looking forward to it but I tried my best. I tried to stay calm and give my best, but it was not enough. Fourth place is not a good position,” she told broadcaster Geo Cinema.
Manu Bhaker has won two medals at Paris 2024
Manu Bhaker has created a special record for the country by winning two medals in the Olympics 2024. She has become the first Indian shooter to win a medal for the country in the Olympic shooting event. Apart from this, she has also become the first Indian athlete to win two medals in the same Olympic Games since independence. Manu Bhaker won a bronze medal in the individual 10m air pistol final. Apart from this, Manu Bhaker along with Sarabjot Singh won another bronze medal in the mixed team 10m air pistol event.
