Adil won the bronze medal by defeating Italy’s Manuel Lombard in the 73 kg category. The Moldovan players looked very excited after winning the medal. Adil appeared to be in a lot of pain after his shoulder got dislocated.

Medal dedicated to late father
Dedicating her medal to her late father, Adil Osmanova said, “He himself had dreamt of reaching the Olympics. Due to lack of money, he could not reach there. After this, he dreamt that one of his children would reach the Olympics and win a medal. Today, his dream has come true.”
