Paris Olympics 2024 Bomb Threat: There is a fear of a bomb blast at the Paris Olympics 2024. The police have found a suspicious object, due to which there is a threat of the Olympic Games being stopped. A report in The Mirror has revealed that police personnel have been deployed at France’s largest ground, the Stade de France Stadium, and the area has been cordoned off by issuing a bomb alert. Specialist bomb squads have been called in to investigate the suspicious object.
It is being told that the alert was issued at noon as per Paris time. At that time the stadium was completely empty because the first session of the Olympic Games had ended by 1 pm. The second session is to start at 6 pm and 80 thousand people are expected to be present inside the stadium at this time. If sources are to be believed, 18 thousand army personnel and 30 thousand police force have been deployed to organize the Olympics 2024 in a systematic manner.
Rail travel has been stopped at Port de Paris railway station near Stade de France stadium. About a week ago on 25 July, rumours of terrorist attack in Paris had created a sensation. It was told that there is a possibility of bomb blast at Euro airport situated on the border of France, Germany and Switzerland. Since then, special care is being taken of security in France. Most of the army personnel are on the roads, but suspicious activities are also being monitored from the sky. Why should this not happen, because at this time more than 10 thousand athletes have arrived in Paris to participate in the games and including the coaching staff, this number can be in several thousands.
