Pakistan vs Bangladesh 2nd Test: The Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start from August 21. The first match of this series is to be played in Rawalpindi. The second match was to be held in Karachi. But now the venue of the second Test has been changed. Now both the matches will be played in Rawalpindi. Pakistan Cricket Board has given important information regarding this. PCB has shared a post on Instagram and written that both the Tests will be played in Rawalpindi. The reason for this has also come to light.
Actually, work will start soon in Karachi’s cricket stadium. This stadium has to be prepared for the Champions Trophy to be held next year. For this reason, the second test match was shifted from Karachi to Rawalpindi. This match is to be played from August 30. Now both the matches of the test series will be held in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Renovation work will start soon in Karachi’s stadium.
PCB said in its statement, “Construction work will be going on in the stadium in Karachi. Because of this, many heavy machines have been installed there. This stadium is to be prepared for the Champions Trophy 2025. Because of this, the test match is being shifted to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.”
Let us tell you that the Pakistan cricket team will play this Test series under the captaincy of Shan Masood. PCB has also included Babar Azam, Sam Ayub and Saud Shakeel in the team for this series. The Bangladesh cricket team will play under the captaincy of Nazmul Hussain Shanto. Experienced player Shakib Al Hasan is also included in this team.
