Shaheen Afridi 100 T20I Wickets Record: A three-match T20 series is being played between Pakistan and South Africa. The first T20 match between the two was played at Kingsmead on 10 December. In which South Africa defeated Pakistan by 11 runs. But in this match, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi bowled brilliantly and was successful in creating a special record in his name. Actually, Shaheen has become the first Pakistani bowler to take 100 wickets in all three formats (Test, ODI and T20).

Shaheen Afridi has played 31 test matches since 2018. In these 31 matches, he has taken 116 wickets at an average of 27.88. Apart from this, Shaheen has played 56 ODI matches since 2018. In these 56 matches, he has taken 112 wickets at a bowling average of 23.13. Shaheen Afridi has played 74 T20 matches since 2018. In these 74 T20 matches, he has taken 100 wickets at an excellent average of 20.87.

Shaheen Afridi has become the third bowler for Pakistan to take 100 wickets in T20 cricket. Earlier this feat was achieved by Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan. Shaheen achieved this feat in 74 matches, making him the second fastest bowler of Pakistan to achieve this feat. Haris Rauf had achieved this feat in 71 matches.
Shaheen Afridi has made another special record in his name. He has become the first bowler in the world to complete 100 wickets in all three formats at the youngest age. In this matter, he has joined the greats like Tim Southee of New Zealand, Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh and Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka.
Shaheen’s bowling did not work for Pakistan
In the first T20 match, Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets in his spell at an economy of 5.50. Abrar Ahmed had also sent 3 South African players to the pavilion. Still, South Africa managed to score 183 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan scored a brilliant 74 runs and Sam Ayub scored 31 runs. Apart from this, no Pakistani player failed to score big. Due to which Pakistan team could score only 172 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs and South Africa won the match by 11 runs.
