A South actress has now revealed about the Tamil director. Who had slapped him in front of everyone many years ago. South Indian actress Padmapriya has made this disclosure recently in an event.
Padmapriya said at an event, ‘The media had wrongly reported that she slapped the director, she questioned why she would have filed a complaint if that had happened. Women’s experiences are often misrepresented. After the incident, the director was banned from making films for six months, but this experience led Padmapriya to stop working in Tamil films. He told that, till then, he had never had such a negative experience on the set.

Without taking the name of the director, Padmapriya told that after the shooting was over, the director slapped her in front of everyone. She was told that she was not able to show emotions properly. According to Manorama News, Padmapriya said, ‘For a long time I felt that I was the problem.’ He also said that the incident was reported to the contrary. He said, ‘When a woman talks about issues, she herself becomes the issue.’
Padmapriya has worked in many Malayalam films. His work has always been appreciated. He also talked about inequality in the film industry. He debuted in Telugu film in 2004. Many of his films have become superhit.
