Online Games: The craze of online games is quite visible among children. Children remain engaged in online games for hours. But sometimes children get so engrossed in online games that they start losing money. One such case has come to light, where a child lost about 5 lakh rupees in online games.
Actually, this case is from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. A person transferred money to a 7th class student in the name of making an online game ID. The child transferred the money with the help of the UPI ID present in his parents’ phone. The parents were shocked after checking the transaction details.
Spent 5 lakh rupees in ten days
According to the information, the student transferred money for the first time on 24 August. After this, about 5 lakh rupees were transferred in several transactions from 24 August to 4 September. The child transferred Rs 2.30 lakh from his mother’s account and about 2.60 lakh rupees from his father’s account. The police have registered a case under the IT section.
Parents be careful
Many times it happens that parents become carefree after giving smartphones to their children. Due to which such incidents happen.
- Parents should keep an eye on the activities of their children.
- Children should be kept away from online games.
- After children use the phone, definitely check its history, this will tell which websites have been opened.
- The bank app or UPI ID present in the mobile should not be shared with children.
- The password or PIN used to open the app should also not be told to children.
- Keep an eye on transactions coming from the bank.
- Keep children busy in outdoor activities as much as possible so that they can stay away from online games.
