Nifty 50: The Indian stock market has been steadily rising for the last few years. During this time, Nifty 50 is also making new records. It crossed the 26,000 point mark for the first time on Tuesday. Nifty has reached from 25,000 to 26,000 points in the last 37 trading sessions. However, it closed at 25,940.40 points. It has jumped 2 percent after the Fed Reserve (US Federal Reserve) cut interest rates.
Nifty reached record high 50 times in 9 months
The boom in the stock market is such that Nifty has reached a record high 50 times in the last 9 months. In the year 2024 itself, it has increased by 19.36 percent. In the year 2023, Nifty had a jump of about 20 percent. This year, Nifty has jumped 7 out of 9 months. It has increased the most by 6.57 percent in June. It has increased by 4 percent in July. Even after such a high valuation, global investors’ interest in the Indian stock market remains intact. The Indian economy is estimated to grow at a rate of 7.2 percent in the financial year 2025.
Bank Nifty also reached lifetime high
On Tuesday, the BSE Sensex closed at 84,914.04 points and the NSE Nifty at 25,940.40 points. Nifty also reached a record level of 26,011.55 points for the first time. The Sensex also reached a new all-time high of 85,163.23 points. Bank Nifty also reached a lifetime high of 54,247.70. After this, it closed at 53,968 points. The market capitalization of BSE has come down to Rs 476.01 lakh crore.
We were able to become a 1 trillion dollar economy in 63 years
Recently, a report claimed that the Indian economy can grow by 1 trillion dollars every 1.5 years. It can become a 10 trillion dollar economy by 2032. With this, India will become the third largest economy in the world in 2030 itself. India took 63 years from 1947 to 2010 to become a 1 trillion dollar economy. After this, it rapidly reached the figure of 2 trillion dollar economy in 2017 and 3 trillion dollar economy in 2020.
