Para Athletics World Championships 2025: ParaDelhi will host the RA Athletics World Championship 2025. The world’s largest single para sports event will start from 26 September 2025. Whereas this event will end on 5 October 2025. The Para Athletics World Championship 2025 will be held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. More than 100 para athletes from all over the world will participate in this mega event. At the same time, this is the 12th edition of Para Athletics World Championship. India will be the fourth country in Asia to host the Para Athletics World Championship.
India will become the fourth Asian country after Qatar, UAE and Japan
Before India, Qatar, UAE and Japan have hosted the Para Athletics World Championship. Apart from this event, India has been given the responsibility of World Para Athletics Grand Prix. Let us tell you that India has got to host the Athletics World Championship for the first time. Apart from this, India will host the World Para Athletics Grand Prix for the first time between March 11 and March 13.

India’s performance in the last 2 Para Athletics World Championships-
At the same time, the last Para Athletics World Championship was hosted by Kobe city of Japan. Indian para athletes had won 17 medals in this event. However, Indian para athletes could win only 2 medals in the Qatar Para Athletics World Championship. It is noteworthy that the world’s largest single para sports event will start from 26 September 2025. Whereas this event will end on 5 October 2025.
