Talking to Times of India, Akash Deep said, “Rohit Sharma is the best captain under whom I have played. I consider myself lucky to have played under Rohit Bhaiya. He is a different kind of captain. I have never seen a captain like him.”
Took 2 wickets against Bangladesh
Akash took 2 wickets in the second Test against Bangladesh played in Chennai. The interesting thing is that he took both the wickets consecutively. Akash took both the wickets in the first innings. Earlier, Akash was seen playing in the home Test series against England. Akash made his debut in the Ranchi Test of the England series. He has taken five wickets in the two matches played so far.
