Netflix replied to Sohum Shah: Bollywood actor and director Soham Shah’s 2018 film ‘Tumbaad’ has been re-released. This film is being discussed once again. In addition to this, Soham Shah is also in the headlines due to a new reason. Actually, the actor had accused the hit Korean web series ‘Squid Game’ of copying his film ‘Luck’.
Soham Shah’s film ‘Lock’ was released in the year 2009. According to Soham, his film was copied by Netflix’s web series Squid Game. This series was released in the year 2021. However, Netflix has rejected Soham’s allegations and called them baseless.
What did Netflix say on Soham’s allegations?
A Netflix spokesperson has responded to Soham Shah’s allegations. The spokesperson said, ‘There is no substance to this claim. Squid Game was created and written by Hwang Dong Hyuk and we intend to defend this matter vigorously.’
