Then they performed the Mangalasanam ritual which is the Telugu version of Haldi. After this the Pelli Kuthuru ceremony was held. In this function, Shobhita was dressed like a bride in a red saree. During the ceremony, Shobhita’s aarti was performed and she was blessed and given bangles by the married women of the house. Later, Naga Chaitanya and his family also joined for lunch.
