Musheer Khan Statement on Car Accident: Young all-rounder player Musheer Khan was injured in a car accident last Saturday. Due to this accident, he will not be able to play in the Irani Cup starting from October 1. Now Musheer Khan has shared a video on social media, in which a leash is tied around his neck. Musheer thanked the support received by Mumbai Cricket Association and also expressed gratitude to the fans.
Musheer, younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, was traveling with his father Naushad Khan to Lucknow, where the Irani Cup match was to be played. But the car collided with the divider on Purvanchal Expressway. On one hand, Musheer Khan has suffered a neck fracture and his father has not suffered any serious injury. He was admitted to Medanta Hospital.
What did Musheer Khan and his father say?
First of all, Naushad Khan said, “First of all, I thank my boss for this new life. Along with this, I express my gratitude to my loved ones and all those relatives who prayed for our good health. Thank you very much to MCA and BCCI for taking care of Mushir, I would just like to say that you have to be thankful for what you got and be patient for what you did not get. On the other hand, Musheer Khan said, “I am fine now and my father is also healthy. Now thank you very much for everyone’s prayers.”
Mumbai Cricket Association has said that a medical team is keeping an eye on Musheer Khan’s health. The MCA statement further added that as soon as Musheer is fit to travel, he will be brought to Mumbai for further investigation. Due to this neck injury, Musheer Khan may have to stay away from cricket for about 3 months.
