Musheer Khan Road Accident: Musheer Khan, brother of Team India’s best player Sarfaraz Khan, met with a road accident. Musheer’s father Naushad Khan was also with him. Musheer was initially supposed to go with the Mumbai team. But his father had stopped him for training. Hence, he was taking training while staying in Azamgarh. Now Musheer will not be able to play cricket for about 16 months. According to a report, he will have to take a long break.
Musheer was going to participate in the Irani Cup. But now we will not be able to play. According to a news in Indian Express, Musheer was going from Azamgarh to Lucknow with his father Naushad Khan. Meanwhile, his car collided with the divider on Yamuna Expressway. The car also overturned after the collision. Because of this Musheer got seriously injured. His father Naushad along with two other people suffered minor injuries. Due to this reason Musheer will stay away from cricket for about 16 weeks.
Musheer had changed his plan and stayed –
Mumbai Cricket Association wanted Musheer to accompany the team. But his father Naushad Khan had asked the association for permission for Musheer to live in Azamgarh. Naushad wanted Musheer to train in Azamgarh only. The association had accepted his point. Musheer also recently participated in the Duleep Trophy. He has given strong performances for Mumbai on many occasions.
MCA issued statement –
Mumbai Cricket Association has issued a statement regarding Musheer. The association said, he met with a road accident last night and will no longer be able to take part in the Irani Cup. Musheer can leave for Mumbai on Sunday. The medical team of MCA and BCCI will take care of him. All checkups will be done again before his return.
