Mufasa-The Lion King Review: When there is talk of three Khans, only Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir come to mind. But there are three Khans in this film and they have also done wonders. These are Shahrukh, Aryan and Abram and this is the main reason for watching this Disney film in India. Children will find this film amazing and adults will have to go along with it, but don’t worry, adults will also be fully entertained.
Story
This time the story of Mufasa becoming king has been shown, in the first part of The Lion King the enmity between Mufasa and his brother Scar was seen. But this time the story goes back to how Mufasa gets separated from his family due to a flood in his childhood and reaches another pride of lions, where he meets his silent brother. Then how come the intruders kill their family and are after their lives, and after running away they find themselves in a secret place about which no one knows. This time the story of how two brothers become enemies has been shown.
How is the movie?
This film has been made in an interesting way, the visuals look very good and the voice over is amazing. It has been given a completely desi style, some sequences are quite amazing, it is fun to watch. Some scenes in between seem a bit long and boring but they were not stretched too much. The first half is quite amazing, the love triangle of Sheron in the second half looks a bit funny. But you bear it with a smile because the film is for children.
acting
Amazing voice acting has been done in this film. Shahrukh Khan has given voice to Mufasa and his voice has made that couplet romantic. When he says ‘I am there’, the scene of Shahrukh and Sushmita Sen automatically starts playing in his mind. Aryan Khan has given the voice to Mufasa’s son Simba and listening to his voice it seems that he has taken proper training in voice acting. He has done his work with perfection.
Little Khan Abram has given voice to little Mufasa and says that the son’s feet are seen in the cradle, the same has happened here. Abram has done an amazing job and his voice suits him very well. Shreyas Talpade has given the voice of Timon and Sanjay Mishra has become the voice of Pamba, the jugalbandi of these two is amazing, Makrand Deshpande has become the voice of Rafiki, Miang Chang has made Taka powerful with his voice.
direction
Barry Jenkins’s direction is good, he has kept the story simple. Good work has been done on voice casting. Overall, this film can be watched with children.
