Waking up due to alarm can make you a blood pressure patient
Recent research from the UVA School of Nursing has found that people who wake up in the morning to the sound of an alarm have a higher risk of blood pressure. This can also cause stroke and heart diseases. According to research, the risk of high BP is 74% higher in those who wake up after setting the alarm.
This research was done on 32 people. During this, the participants were made to wear finger blood pressure cuffs along with smartwatches. They were asked to wake up without alarm for some days and to wake up with alarm after 5 hours of sleep for some days. Research found that blood pressure was much higher in those who were forced to wake up due to the sound of the alarm clock.
