Mohammed Shami Suicide: Mohammed Shami has achieved immense success in his career, but apart from success, he has also suffered a lot in his personal life. From match fixing allegations to the matter of divorce with wife Haseen Jahan, things shook him to the core. This Indian fast bowler has already talked about suicide, but his friend Umesh Kumar has also mentioned those incidents that happened with Shami, which no one had heard about till date.
Shami wanted to commit suicide
Mohammad Shami’s friend Umesh Kumar said, “The allegations of match fixing in collaboration with Pakistan had shaken him to the core. Shami said that he could bear anything but not the allegations of betrayal against the country. He stayed at my house during that difficult time. It was around 4 am, I woke up to drink water and when I was going towards the kitchen, I saw Shami standing on the balcony. We were living on the 19th floor of the building. I had understood what was going on there.”
One message and my life changed
Umesh Kumar further said that that night was probably the longest night of Shami’s life. A few days later we were talking when he got a message on his phone that the committee investigating the match fixing case has given a clean chit to Shami. That message gave him more happiness than winning any World Cup. Well, talking about the present time, Shami is currently recovering from an ankle injury.
Shami’s life has been full of troubles
Mohammed Shami married Hasin Jahan in 2014 and has a son from this relationship. But he did not know that after 4 years, a storm was going to come in his personal life. Serious allegations like domestic violence, attempted murder and poisoning were made against Shami. Shami’s troubles increased when his family members were also dragged into this case. The match fixing case which Umesh Kumar talked about in his statement, those allegations were also made by Hasin Jahan. Fortunately, the Indian cricketer was declared free of charges in the investigation.
