Indian Pacer Mohammed Shami Batting Video: Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami is in the news these days. Recently, former Indian coach Ravi Shastri had talked about Shami. He had talked about sending Shami on Australia tour. Shami, who is fit after the injury, has returned to professional cricket through domestic cricket, but he is yet to return to Team India. Meanwhile, the Indian pacer shared a video through social media, in which he is seen doing wonders not in bowling but in batting.
Actually, these days Shami is playing for Bengal in the domestic ODI tournament Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. In the tournament match played against Madhya Pradesh, Shami took only one wicket while bowling, but he did wonders with the bat and played a brilliant innings for the team. In the match, Shami, batting at number eight, scored 42 runs in 34 balls with the help of 5 fours and 1 six.
Earlier, Shami was seen playing the domestic T20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Bengal. Now he is seen in Vijay Hazare Trophy for the team, in which he has played two matches so far. On one hand, Shami is seen playing domestic cricket, but he was not sent to Australia. BCCI, while issuing an update on the bowler’s fitness during the Australia tour, had said that he has some problem in his knee. Due to this, Shami missed the first few matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy.

It is noteworthy that more than a year has passed since Shami was out of Team India. He played his last match for India in November 2023 (ODI World Cup Final). Now it will be interesting to see when Shami is able to return to Team India.
