Mohammad Yusuf announced his resignation on social media. Mohammad Yusuf said that he is resigning due to personal reasons. Mohammad Yusuf wrote on Twitter:- I announce my resignation as the selector of Pakistan cricket team due to personal reasons. Working with this amazing team was a special experience.
Mohammad Yusuf has further written- I am proud to have contributed to the development and success of Pakistan cricket. I have great confidence in the talent and spirit of our players and I wish my team all the best as they continue to work hard for success. At the same time, after this the Pakistan Cricket Board issued a statement. Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement that Mohammad Yousuf has resigned from the post of selector of Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team. Also, Pakistan Cricket Board thanked Mohammad Yusuf for his contribution.
Pakistan Cricket Board said in the statement that Mohammad Yousuf’s tenure as a member of the PCB selection committee was very special, we wholeheartedly thank Mohammad Yousuf. Also, Pakistan Cricket Board said in the statement that Mohammad Yusuf will continue to share his extensive knowledge and experience as batting coach at the High Performance Centre. Let us tell you that apart from 90 Test matches, Mohammad Yusuf represented Pakistan in 288 ODI matches. In March this year, Mohammad Yusuf was made the selector of Pakistan men’s cricket team.
