Mohammad Amir Return In ODI Cricket: There is continuous turmoil in Pakistan cricket. Recently, former team captain and star batsman Babar Azam was dropped from the Test team. Now the matter has come to light regarding the return of fast bowler Mohammad Aamir. Aamir was seen playing for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup played in 2024. Now after five years, he may make a comeback in ODI also.
Although Aamir had retired from international cricket in 2020, but he decided to come out of retirement before the 2024 T20 World Cup and made himself available for selection in the Pakistan team. After this he was seen playing in the T20 World Cup. Now news has come out regarding Aamir’s return to ODI. Aamir played his last ODI match for Pakistan in October 2019 i.e. about five years ago.
According to media reports, Pakistan’s selection committee contacted Mohammad Aamir to give information about his availability for ODI cricket. Apart from this, Aamir can be included in the Pakistan team for the three-match T20 series to be played against Australia from November 14.
However, no official information regarding Aamir’s inclusion in Pakistan’s ODI team has been revealed yet. Nothing has been said about this yet from Pakistan Cricket Board or Aamir.
Aamir’s international career has been like this till now
Aamir has played 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 62 T20 International matches so far in his international career. He has taken 119 wickets in Tests. Apart from this, he has taken 81 wickets in 60 innings of ODI and 71 wickets in 61 innings of T20 International.
