Mithya 2 Review: If you have been disappointed with Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa and are feeling that you should watch something good on OTT only, then here too salt has been sprinkled on your wounds. Mithya 2 has come on Zee5, this series also lives on the same myth like Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa that if the first part was good then the audience will watch anything in the next part, whereas the truth is something else.
Story
This story is about two step sisters who do anything to humiliate each other. Huma Qureshi is a writer and Avantika Dassani is a businesswoman. Avantika pursues Huma to Naveen Kasturia who accuses her of stealing his story and writing her book. When Huma’s father comes to know about this, he gets worried. Then some tricks are played between the two sisters which are very childish and just doing this the 6 episodes end.
how is the series
You probably won’t be able to watch this series completely. Interest in the series is not aroused. This series starts boring only after one and a half episodes, no twist or turn seems surprising. This series of 6 episodes starts becoming unbearable, it seems as if two children are fighting among themselves. The story has been shown in a very straightforward manner, nowhere do you feel any shock, nowhere do you feel that this series lives up to its name. If you are able to see it completely then it will be called your courage.
acting
Huma Qureshi is just fine, she doesn’t leave the same impact as she did in Maharani. The writing here is very bad and its effect is visible on his acting. Avantika Dasani is the daughter of Bhagyashree, she is new and accordingly she impresses. If she gets more good opportunities, she can do much better. Naveen Kasturia is an amazing actor but he was not used properly here. His character should have been developed better. Rajit Kapoor has done a good job but his acting could not stand up to the bad story.
direction
This series has been directed by Kapil Sharma. No, not Kapil Sharma of Comedy Nights, he is someone else, and his direction is very bad. Somewhere he is not able to connect with the audience, somewhere he does not feel what will happen next, he should have worked more on the story. Today the content has changed a lot, hence the viewer wants something that surprises him but here the flaw in this series surprises the viewer.
Overall, there is nothing worth watching in this series.
