Actor Mithun Chakraborty, who has been entertaining people with his excellent acting for years in many explosive films like Shikari, Gunda, Oh My God, will be honored for his contribution in the film world. The 74 year old actor will now be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award…Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnav announced this while sharing the post on her X Account. He wrote- Honored to announce that the Dadasaheb Phalke Selection Jury has decided to award legendary actor, Sh. Mithun Chakraborty Ji for his iconic contribution to Indian Cinema. This honor will be given to Mithun Chakraborty at the 70th National Film Award Ceremony on 8 October 2024.
