Mirzapur Season 3: The third season of Mirzapur is currently in the headlines. All the characters of this recently released show are in the headlines for some reason or the other. Now Madhuri Yadav is also in the news. Actually, the actress is famous for her role, and she has also revealed something about the film industry, which is really surprising. Mirzapur’s Madhuri Bhabhi i.e. Isha Talwar has said something about the casting in Bollywood. However, this is not about casting couch. She told how roles are found in films and series in B-town.
Experience in the industry doesn’t matter
Isha Talwar has revealed during an interview that talent does not matter in films today. No matter how talented you are, it cannot get you a role. Isha says that for films and series, what matters is how many fans you have on social media, i.e. how many followers you have. If you have more followers, you will get a role or you will be selected as a makeup artist. Or you will be selected as a choreographer or photographer. But your talent does not matter for all this. It does not matter how experienced you are.
How followers can judge your talent
Isha says that of course followers can be bought, but this method of casting is not right at all. Regarding Bollywood, she said that casting based on followers instead of talent is not right at all. Actors work hard for their characters and this is disrespect to their hard work. In such a situation, the basis of casting should be talent only and not popularity. Isha says that how can you decide on the basis of followers that the person knows how to do the work for which you are selecting him.
A very wrong trend is being set
Isha Talwar further said, you should play fair game. How can only numbers decide your fate. You have been learning acting for so many years, taking dance classes, doing crafting, but suddenly you come to know that your selection will not be based on hard work and talent but on 15 second reels. Think how wrong trend is being set.
People were hired just by looking at Instagram
Many such people were also hired who had a lot of followers on Instagram, but when they were given the work, they did not know it at all. They had a long CV and profile, but here just talking does not work, for this you also need to have skills.
