Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index: Meta Platforms co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also joined the club of richest billionaires with a net worth of $200 billion. Tesla chief Elon Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos are already part of this club.
According to the latest data of billionaires released by Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index on 25 September 2024, Elon Musk is the richest person in the world with a net worth of $268 billion. Jeff Bezos is the second richest person in the world with a net worth of $216 billion. In third place is Mark Zuckerberg, who has a net worth of $200 billion and has joined the $200 billion net worth club for the first time. Mark Zuckerberg’s net worth has seen the highest jump of $71 billion this year. While Jeff Bezos’ net worth has seen a jump of $39.3 billion and Elon Musk’s net worth has seen a jump of $38.9 billion.
Louis Vuitton chairman Bernard Arnault is just a few steps away from joining the $200 billion net worth club. Bernard Arnault has a net worth of $183 billion. Larry Ellison of database company Oracle is also just a few steps away from the $200 billion net worth club and has a net worth of $189 billion. Bernard Arnault’s wealth has declined by $24.2 billion this year while Larry Ellison’s net worth has increased by $55.6 billion.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, India’s richest industrialist and Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has assets worth $113 billion. While Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani has assets worth $105 billion. Mukesh Ambani’s wealth has increased by $16.7 billion and Gautam Adani’s net worth has increased by $20.9 billion this year.
