This was a major accident, due to which Meena Kumari had to stay in the hospital for several days. Her hand was injured in this accident and her little finger was broken. Due to this, the shape of her finger changed and it became round. This was the reason why Meena Kumari used to keep her hand hidden in front of the camera.
