Malaika Arora has shared a post in which she has shared the news of her father Anil Arora’s death. In this post, Malaika wrote, ‘It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our beloved father Anil Mehta is no more. He was a gentle soul, a good father, a loving husband and our best friend.’
Malaika further wrote, ‘Our family is in deep shock due to what we have lost, so I request the media and my well-wishers to respect our privacy as this is a difficult time for us. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect.’
Did Anil Arora commit suicide?
According to media reports, on September 11, at around 9.30 am, Anil Arora committed suicide by jumping from the roof of his house. His body was sent for post-mortem and the Special Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has started the investigation. Malaika Arora was out of town and immediately returned to Mumbai after getting the news. Her entire family is in deep shock due to this incident.
