On Saubhagya Panchami, water should be offered to the Sun after taking bath early in the morning. After this, worship the idols of Lord Shiva, Hanuman ji and Ganesha at the auspicious time. If possible, one should wrap Molly on betel nut and enshrine it in the form of Shri Ganesh ji on Ashtadal of rice. Lord Ganesha should be worshiped with sandalwood, vermillion, Akshat, flowers and Durva. After this, Lord Shiva should be worshiped by offering ashes, Bilva leaves, Dhatura and white clothes. Modak should be offered to Lord Ganesha and other white dishes should be offered to Lord Shiva.
