Method of Kunwara Panchami Shradh (Kunwara Panchami Puja Vidhi)
- On the day of Panchami Shraddha, wake up in the morning, take a bath and smear the place of God and Pitra with cow dung. Sprinkle Gangajal.
- Women should prepare food for their ancestors after taking bath, including kheer, puri and pumpkin vegetable.
- To serve food, use banana leaves or plates made from leaves of a tree called Moha. These are easily available in the market.
- On Kunwara Panchami, invite unmarried Brahmins and sisters and daughters of the house for a meal.
- In the afternoon, perform the shraddha rituals for unmarried ancestors and offer food to the fire. After this, take out the Panchbali bhog and then feed the food to a Brahmin.
- Sister, give some donation to the Brahmin and send him off with respect.
