The actress we are talking about is none other than Konkona Sen Sharma. The two-time National Award winning star started her career as a child artiste at the age of four with the Bengali film Indira (1983). Then Konkana Sen debuted as a lead actress in the Bengali film Ek Je Achhe Kanya (2001). After that came her Titli (2002). In the same year, Konkana made her breakthrough in Indian cinema with the English drama Mr. and Mrs. Iyer. This film was directed by Aparna Sen along with Rahul Bose.
In 2005, Konkana achieved critical acclaim and success with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Page 3. After Page 3, Konkana enthralled the audience and critics with her performances in films like Omkara, Traffic Signal, Life in a Metro, Wake Up Sid, Luck by Chance, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, 7 Khoon Maaf, Ek Thi Daayan, Talwar. Impressed.
Konkana also became a filmmaker with A Death in the Gunj (2017) and directed a short story in the anthology Lust Stories 2. While Konkana continued to shine more and more in her professional life, on the personal front the actress was not so lucky.
In 2007, Konkana started dating Ranveer Shorey and reportedly, they were in a live-in relationship. According to media reports, the actress became pregnant in 2010 and later that year Ranveer and Kokanna got married. That means the actress had become pregnant even before marriage.
The couple welcomed their first son Aaron in 2011. However, the married life of Konkana and Ranveer did not last long.
In September 2015, Ranveer and Konkana announced their separation, and the couple officially divorced in August 2020. Ranveer and Konkana share custody of their son Haroon.
According to media reports, after divorce, Konkana has found love again and she is dating Amol Parashar. Amol was seen in the role of Chitvan in TVF Tripling. And he has also played the role of Bhagat Singh in Sardar Udham. Amol is 7 years younger than Konkana and both of them have shared the screen in ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’.
Talking about the work front, Konkana was seen in the dark crime comedy series Killer Soup. He has many upcoming projects.
