Kieron Pollard Batting From Behind The Stumps: Kieron Pollard is playing in Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024 these days. Pollard is captaining the New York Strikers in the tournament. Pollard is known for power hitting and clever heavy bowling. But this time he did something different from both the things. While batting, Pollard did something which perhaps no batsman has ever done in professional cricket.
Actually, Pollard went behind the stumps while batting, the video of which is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that Pollard goes outside to play the ball off stump. While going out, Pollard reaches behind the stumps. However, despite so much effort, Pollard is unable to hit the ball. This incident happened in the 24th match of the tournament, in which the teams of New York Strikers and UP Nawabs were face to face.
Pollard could not do anything special in the match. A very slow innings was seen from his side, which does not happen often. Pollard scored only 12 runs in 21 balls without hitting any boundary.
