Kerala State Film Awards 2023: Today (16th August) the National Film Awards were announced in which Hindi as well as South Indian films dominated. On the other hand, the list of Kerala State Film Awards was also released today. In this, the Malayalam language survival drama ‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ has won and has won not one, two or three but a total of 9 awards.
‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ was awarded the title of Best Popular Film at the Kerala State Film Awards. The film has been directed by Blessy, so Blessy was also awarded the Best Director award for the film. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who appeared in the lead role in ‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’, received the Best Actor award for his acting in the film.

‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ director Blaise has shared the list of awards received by the film on Instagram. According to which, apart from being selected as the Best Director, Blaise has also been awarded in the Best Adapted Screenplay category. Apart from this, ‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ has also won 5 more awards, which include awards in the Best Cinematographer, Special Jury Mention, Best Makeup Artist, Best Colorist and Best Sound Mixing categories.
What is the story of the film?
‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’, released in theaters on 28 March 2024, is an adventure-drama. The film is the story of Indian migrant worker Najeeb Muhammad who goes to Saudi Arabia to earn money, but finds himself living like a slave grazing goats in the middle of the desert. The film was well received by the audience and it collected Rs 157.35 crore worldwide.
