Highest retail inflation rate: The country’s retail inflation rate may have recorded a decline, but the National Statical Office (NSO) data has revealed a shocking revelation. One of his data has revealed that in the month of February, Kerala had the highest inflation, while Telangana had the lowest inflation. This shows that there is still a pressure of value in some big states.
Inflation rate was so much in these states
In February, Kerala was the highest inflation in 7.3 percent, followed by 4.9 percent Chhattisgarh is second. Similarly, inflation in Karnataka was 4.5 percent in Bihar, 4.5 percent in Bihar and 4.3 percent in Jammu and Kashmir. Retail inflation was the lowest 1.3 percent in Telangana. After that Delhi is in second and third position respectively with 1.5 percent and 2.4 percent in Andhra Pradesh. The figures show that in 13 of the 22 states, inflation was lower than the Target of 4 percent of the Reserve Bank of India.
Expectation increased to reduce the interest rate of the Reserve Bank
The data released by NSO on Wednesday suggests that the retail inflation rate measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has come down from 4.3 percent in January to 3.6 percent in February, which is the lowest in the last seven months. This is due to the fall in the prices of food and drink. This has increased the hope of reducing the interest rate from the Reserve Bank in the month of April.
