Kanguva Day 1 Box Office Collection: South star Surya is coming with Pan India film Kanguva. The film is going to be released on 14 November. The film has been made on a very grand level. Advance booking of the film was done in full swing and there are reports that it is going to be the biggest opener of Surya’s career.
According to Pinkvilla news, till 5 pm on Wednesday, Kanguva has done pre-sales worth Rs 4.75 crore in Tamil Nadu alone, while the bookings across India are around Rs 9.75 crore. This is going to be the fourth highest grossing film of this year in terms of advance booking in Tamil Nadu. Earlier, The GOAT (Rs 18.12 crore), Vettayan (Rs 12.39 crore) and Amaran (Rs 9.66 crore) had earned.
The advance booking of Kanguva in Tamil Nadu may be higher than that of Indian 2 (Rs 6.41 crore) and Thangalaan (Rs 4.85 crore), as the final booking is expected to be between Rs 7 to 8 crore. After Tamil Nadu, Kerala has received the highest number of bookings. The film has taken bookings of 2.05 crores and in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana it is around 1.70 crores. Very good pre-sales have not been seen in Karnataka and North India. But there are hopes that the film will get the benefit of word of mouth after its release. The All India booking of the film is expected to reach around Rs 15 crore. Accordingly, this will be the third biggest opening for any Tamil film in India.

According to the report of Pinkvilla, the all India business of Kanguva can be around Rs 30 crore. Box office collection can be Rs 15 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 7 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 5 crore in Kerala, Rs 3.50 crore in North India and Rs 2.00 crore in Karnataka.
