Kangana Ranaut EmergencyKangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ is going to be released soon. Now Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) order to remove some parts from the film Emergency.
While talking to IANS, Kangana said that as a director, she wanted only a film with an original plot. However, she accepts the decision of CBFC.
Kangana said, ‘I wanted its full version to come. But there is no problem with the cut, because it is not that the film has been made to make fun of anyone. They completely removed certain episodes of history and the fact that it doesn’t affect my film is, in a way, proof that it doesn’t matter.
He further said that the story is completely intact. The message of the film remains completely intact, which is patriotism. So I don’t think it has affected the bigger story. But if he has shot it then there must be some reason behind it.
This film is based on the period of emergency imposed by late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 1970s. The film promises to be an interesting exploration of one of the most debated chapters of Indian democracy.

This film was written, directed by Kangana Ranaut and she is also in the lead role. This is his second directorial film after ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. This film has strong stars like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and late Satish Kaushik.
Produced by Zee Studios, Manikarnika Films and Renu Pitti, ‘Emergency’ has music composed by Sanchit Balhara and G.V. Prepared by Prakash Kumar. Dialogues and storyline have been prepared by Ritesh Shah. This film will be released on 17 January.
