African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada became the fastest bowler to take 300 wickets in terms of balls in the history of Test cricket. Rabada overtook stalwarts like former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn and former Pakistani pacer Waqar Younis.
Earlier this record was held in the name of Pakistan’s Waqar Younis, who had completed 300 Test wickets in 12602 balls. Now Rabada did the feat of taking 300 wickets in 11817 balls. Whereas former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn had completed 300 Test wickets in 12605 balls. At the fourth position in this list is former South African fast bowler Allan Donald, who had completed 300 Test wickets in 13672 balls.
