Bajrang Punia Reaction on Vinesh Phogat: Olympian Vinesh Phogat has contested the Haryana Assembly elections 2024. He had contested the elections from Julana assembly seat on Congress ticket. Which comes in Jind district. Bajrang Punia also joined Congress along with Vinesh Phogat. Bajrang Punia has tweeted for his fellow wrestler Vinesh Phogat regarding the election results on 8th October. This tweet has been made regarding the victory of Vinesh Phogat.

Bajrang Punia has made a tweet on his ex. In which there is a picture of Vinesh Phogat. While sharing this picture, Bajrang Punia has congratulated Vinesh for winning the Julana assembly seat. He wrote, “Many congratulations to the country’s daughter Vinesh Phogat for her victory.” He further wrote, “This fight was not just for one Julana seat, not just with 3-4 more candidates, not just a fight of parties. This fight was against the strongest repressive forces of the country and Vinesh was the winner in it.”

However, till the time of writing the news, the Election Commission has not yet declared the official results of Julana seat.
Vinesh quit wrestling after being disqualified from the finals
In Paris Olympics 2024, Vinesh Phogat reached the final by defeating big wrestlers till the semi-finals. She was disqualified even before the final of the women’s 50 kg weight category. Whereas everyone felt that Vinesh Phogat could win the gold medal in that final match. The entire country was saddened by his disqualification. After this Vinesh Phogat had announced her retirement from wrestling. After which Vinesh joined the Congress party along with her fellow wrestler Bajrang Punia on 6 September.
