PAK vs ENG 4th Day Report: On the fourth day of the Multan Test, England presented a spectacular game. After the excellent batting of Joe Root and Harry Brook, the English bowlers were seen. England declared its second innings at 823 runs for 8 wickets. In this way England got a lead of 267 runs on the basis of first innings. In response to which Pakistan’s score till the end of the fourth day’s play is 152 runs for 6 wickets. Pakistan is 115 runs behind England on the basis of first innings, but 6 batsmen of the host team have turned to the pavilion.
Now England will have to take out only 4 wickets on the fifth day. In this way, Pakistan is in danger of defeat. Earlier on the fourth day, Joe Root and Harry Brook made the Pakistani bowlers sweat. Harry Brook played an inning of 317 runs. He hit 29 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. While Joe Root contributed 262 runs. Whereas, Jack Crowley and Ben Duckett scored 78 runs and 84 runs respectively. Naseem Shah and Sam Ayub took 2-2 wickets for Pakistan. Apart from this, Shaheen Afridi, Amre Jamal and Agha Salman took 1 wicket each.
Pakistan had a very bad start in the second innings. Chris Woakes dismissed Abdullah Shafiq on the very first ball. After this, captain Shan Masood left after scoring 11 runs. Whereas Babar Azam went to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs. Saud Shakeel scored 29 runs. Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan was out after scoring 10 runs. At present, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal are at the crease for Pakistan. Agha Salman has scored 41 runs. Aamer Jamal returned not out after scoring 27 runs.
Till now, Gus Attickson and Bearden Kearse have been the most successful bowlers for England. Gus Attkisson and Bearden Kearse dismissed 2-2 batsmen. Apart from this, Chris Woakes and Jack Leach got 1-1 success.
