Despite her increasing popularity, Jhanak Shukla had decided to move away from the limelight at the age of 15. In an interview with ETimes, she had revealed that after her success in Karishma Ka Karishma, she got roles in Kal Ho Na Ho and One Night with the King. However, he had decided to give priority to his studies over his acting career.
