BCCI Meet IPL Owners Jay Shah Fight Manoj Badale: On the evening of July 31, a meeting was called with the IPL team owners at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. According to reports, many topics were discussed in the meeting, including reports of a debate on the mega auction and retention rules in it. Now it is being claimed on social media that during the meeting, there was a heated argument between BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Rajasthan Royals owner Manoj Badale.
It is being claimed that RR franchise owner Manoj Badale started raising the issue of ‘Justice for Sanju Samson’ in the meeting. Jay Shah did not like this, due to which he was seen having a heated argument with Manoj. Let us tell you that these days the topic ‘Justice for Sanju Samson’ is trending on social media. Samson was out for zero in the ODI T20 matches against Sri Lanka. People are divided into 2 groups on his performance. On one hand there are those who believe that whenever Samson gets a chance, he is not able to perform well. On the other hand, there are those who are saying that luck is not supporting Samson, so he should get more chances.
There was no meeting, no decision was taken
After the meeting held on 31 July, Delhi Capitals owner Parth Jindal said that despite a lot of discussion, no conclusion could be reached. Along with this, he also told that Delhi Capitals openly opposes the impact player rule. He said that many people want to stick with this rule to give a chance to the youth, but the owner of Delhi Capitals believes that he gets more happiness in watching a regular match with 11 players in each team.
Should Sanju Samson get a chance?
Sanju Samson made his T20 debut for India in 2015 and in the last 9 years, he has been able to play only 30 T20 matches for the Indian team. In his T20 career, he has scored 444 runs in 30 matches, in which he has only 2 half-century innings to his name. In the series against Sri Lanka, Samson got out on a score of zero in both his matches. But before that, he had shown signs of good form by scoring a half-century against Zimbabwe.
